Yolanda C. Ruggiero

Yolanda C. Ruggiero, age 93, of Vestal, died peacefully Friday, December 16, near Orchard Park, NY. She was greeted in heaven by her parents Philip and Sarah Coniglio, her husband Pasquale (Pat) Ruggiero and her daughter Lorraine Moeller (Steve).

Yolanda is survived by her children Carolynne "Reggie" (James) Bender, Yolande (Earl) Hughes, and Patrick (Janet) Ruggiero; Son in Law Steven Moeller; grandchildren, Mark (Mary), Traci, Karli and Eric Bender, Derek (Megan), Danielle and Diana Ruggiero, and Sarah Moeller; great grandchild Jack Bender.

Yolanda was born in Milan, Italy, lived in New York State, College Point, Manhasset, Platekill and Vestal. She graduated from Hunter College and taught school for over 30 years. She was fluent in Italian and Spanish. Her love for travel was only surpassed by her love for her family. Yolanda was truly cherished and admired by many.

A private graveside service will be held at Mount St. Mary Cemetery, Flushing, New York.
