William Bermingham, 84, of Hamburg NY, formerly of East Aurora, NY passed away peacefully on February 5, 2019. He was born to parents Thomas F. and Elizabeth on April 3, 1934 in Buffalo, NY. He was proud to say he graduated from Timon High School in 1951 and joined the Navy. After his service he received a Bachelor's degree from Canisius College and a Master's in Education from Buffalo State College. He taught in the Buffalo School district at Public School 72 until he retired. He married Tina Kelleher, the love of his life in 1957 who passed away in 2000.

Bill is survived by his seven children; William (Kathleen), Mary (Gary) Meyer, Kevin (Rebecca), Daniel (Kristin), Brian (Sally), Susan (Patrick) Green and Donald (Susan). He is survived by 17 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He is also survived by 2 brothers James (Noreen) and Michael (Carolyn) as well as a sister Mary Ann (Robert) Laudico. He is also survived by his in-laws Nancy and Buddy Glavy and Shirley Bermingham. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Thomas.

When taking a picture, Bill made it an event rather than an instance as it lasted several minutes eventually being captured in a panoramic view. He lived his life with a panoramic view enjoying a variety of interests including; music, sports, travel, movies and books. He was a patient listener that gave great thought to the few words that he said. He spoke with kindness and love. He loved his children, adored his grandchildren and cherished his great grandchildren.

Also, the family would like to extend their sincerest gratitude to his family at Elderwood of Hamburg for their understanding, support and loving care of our father.

Family will receive friends on Friday February 8, 2019 3pm -7pm at the F. E. Brown Sons Funeral Home Inc. 6575 East Quaker Street, Orchard Park. A mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday February 9, 2019 at 10am at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church 66 E. Main St., Hamburg NY.
