Walter E. Franklin, age 85, of East Aurora, died Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at Mercy Hospital, Buffalo.
Mr. Franklin was born at East Aurora, NY, the son of the late Ernest and the late Bertha (Donhauser) Franklin. He married Eleanor Geitter.
He served in the Army during World War II.
He is survived by his wife: Eleanor (Geitter) Franklin, his children, Joanne (Bill) Pratt and Kathleen (Jeffrey) Hause, and his grand daughter Susan LaBelle.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday December 8, 2012 at 11:00am at the F. E. Brown Sons Funeral Home, Inc., 6575 East Quaker Street, Orchard Park.
Burial will be held at 10:30am prior to the service at Woodlawn Cemetery on South Buffalo St. in Orchard Park, New York.
