Thomas R. Stanes, Jr., age 85, of Hamburg, died Thursday, March 3, 2016 at Elderwood at Hamburg of Hamburg, NY. Mr. Stanes was born August 8, 1930 in Buffalo, NY. He is the son of the late Thomas R. and the late Mary G. (Collie) Stanes.
Beloved husband of the late Diane (Palmer); father of Gary T. (Cathleen) and Jeffrey M. (Sharon) Stanes; grandfather of Jason, Brian, Cheryl, Keith and Christina; great-grandfather of Thomas, Grace, Emily, Alexander, Elizabeth, Abigail, Katherine, Zachary, Olivia and Jacob; also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held 10:00 am on Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 4536 South Buffalo Street, Orchard Park, NY. Burial will be on Wednesday.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday March 8th 2016 from 3pm – 7pm.
