Cavaretta, Therese M. (Gorzynski) born March 9, 1930 and formerly of Getzville, NY passed peacefully on September 28, 2022. Beloved wife of the late Peter N. Cavaretta; loving mother of Linda M. (Kenneth Weatherbee) Scamurra, Bruce C. (Diana) Cavaretta, Madeleine "Mimi" M. (Daniel) Wood, and the late Louis J. Cavaretta; grandmother of David, Danielle, Kimberly, Nicholas, Lauren, and Michael, and 6 great grandchildren.
A 1952 Summa Cum Laude graduate of Canisius College, Therese went on to obtain her Master of Science and taught Mathematics at Nottingham/Nichols. She donated her time and expertise to various committees and boards throughout Western New York. Therese was a global traveler, avid golfer, bridge enthusiast, and lifelong pianist.
No prior visitation. A Memorial Mass to be celebrated at a later date.
