Suzanne Langworthy

Suzanne Langworthy, 78, went to heaven from her home on Tuesday March 22, 2016 after a short illness. A lifelong resident of Orchard Park, she dedicated her career to teaching second grade. She taught in Japan, Afghanistan, Nepal and retired from the Marilla School District after 31 total years of teaching.

Suzanne enjoyed traveling the world and visited 87 countries in her lifetime. She was also very busy as a volunteer for The Salvation Army, FISH, her church and many other organizations. She had a great zest for life and love of people, making friends where ever she went.

One of her passions was creating a library in her home which includes over 12,000 books.

Suzanne is survived by her sister in law Virginia Langworthy; nephew John B. Langworthy II (Corrina); great nephew John B. Langworthy III; great niece Courtney Langworthy, and countless friends. She was preceded in death by her brother John B. Langworthy and niece Bethany Langworthy.

A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday March 30, 2016 at 11:00am at the Orchard Park Presbyterian Church 4369 South Buffalo Rd. Orchard Park, NY 14127.
