Hulme, Sharon A. (McCabe); October 14, 2024; beloved wife of Paul F. Hulme. Dearest mother of Mark D. (Joanne), Michael K. (Christine), and Paul G. (Mindy) Hulme. Devoted grandmother to Michael, Kelly, David, Casey, Cody, Clare, Samantha, Riley and Paul. Daughter of the late Charles J. and Berneice McCabe. Dear sister to Marilyn (Walter) Natwora, Marge (Frank) Gallagher, Thomas (Jeffery) McCabe, Maida McCabe, Joseph McCabe, Matthew (April) McCabe, and predeceased by siblings Susan (late Norman) Reimers, Charles (survived by Lucy) McCabe, Sally (Jack) Fulater, Berneice (survived by Joe) Janiga, Francis (Shirley) McCabe, Michael (Nina) McCabe, Kathleen (Thomas) White, Deborah McCabe, and James (survived by Kelly) McCabe. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Sharon grew up one of sixteen McCabe children in South Buffalo, NY where she attended Our Lady of Victory High School. She met her lifelong love, Paul, at the Bishop Timon dance. They celebrated 63 years of marriage and were blessed with three sons. The family moved to East Aurora in 1977 and Sharon worked for Aurora Optometrics. After retirement she traveled the world with Paul and especially loved Florence, Italy. Family was the most important thing in the world to her and she loved her nine grandchildren and treasured her close friendships. The family will be present Friday, October 18th from 4 to 7 PM at the F E Brown Sons Funeral Home, 6575 E. Quaker Street, Orchard Park, NY. Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, October 19th at 11:15 AM in Immaculate Conception RC Church, 520 Oakwood Avenue, East Aurora, NY.
