Sandra Sak Mclaughlin

Sandra Mary McLaughlin (nee Sak, formerly Szkolnyj), devoted wife and mother, went to be with the Lord July 24th, 2022. Her love will live on in her husband and high school sweetheart, Kerry "Mac" McLaughlin, children Russell, Eric (Robyn), and Andrea (Jorge), grandchildren, Alexander, Lauren, and Violet, and her sister Joanne Sak. Sandy graduated from Maryvale High School in 1964 and enjoyed a varied career, becoming the 3rd of what would become 5 generations of hairdressers, starting with her beloved grandfather, Joseph Basztura. She enjoyed working in floristry, banking, human resources, and supporting extraordinary people with intellectual disabilities. Her self-proclaimed greatest achievement and most important job was raising her children and being Grammy to her grandchildren. She devoted herself to loving God and loving others well, and the eternal hope of her family is that she felt their love like they felt hers.
