Rose M. Edwards, 83, of Orchard Park, NY passed away on Friday, August 7, 2026, at Father Baker Manor. She was born on August 18, 1942, in Lewiston, NY, daughter of the late John and Genevieve (Popielarski) Wayda of Niagara Falls, NY.

Beloved wife of the late Charles M. Edwards, who died in 1995, they resided in Niagara Falls, NY during their 30-year marriage. She later lived in West Seneca, NY for several years and then in Orchard Park, NY.

She worked as a home care aide at HANCI and Comfort Keepers for many years. Rose loved spending time with her grandchildren, and she enjoyed China painting, traveling, bowling, and watching the Buffalo Bills.

Loving mother of Jill (Michael Tills) Edwards-Tills and Michael C. Edwards. Cherished grandmother of Arden, Alex, and Julia Tills. She is also survived by sister-in-law Susan Cieri of Utica, NY and several cousins, nieces, and nephews. Rose is predeceased by sister Jeanne (late Carl) Zimmerman and brother John (Shirley) Wayda.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, September 12, 2026, at 11:00 AM at St. John's Lutheran Church, 4536 S. Buffalo Street, Orchard Park, NY. Interment will be held privately in Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Lewiston, NY.
