Paula C. Janicki

Paula C.(Tiranno) Janicki, beloved wife of 57 years to Thomas S. Janicki; devoted mother of Jeffrey (Stephanie) and Justin (Tanya); and cherished grandmother of Julia, Jackson, and Mabel, passed away peacefully on March 16, 2026.

A graduate of the State University of New York at Geneseo, Paula dedicated over 30 years to serving as a speech therapist and audiologist for the Cheektowaga Central School District. Paula was known for being a loyal and devoted friend. She took great care in nurturing relationships throughout her life, maintaining close connections with friends from high school, college, church, and her years of work. With genuine kindness and thoughtfulness, she made it a priority to stay in touch and show care for the many people fortunate enough to call her a friend.

Daughter of the late John and Louise (Bianchi) Tiranno, Paula is also survived by her loving siblings: Carol (Mark) Vogel, Charles (Rebecca) Tiranno, Lori (David) Salem, Michael (Lori) Aloisia, Donna (John) Burzynski, and Lisa Rapp (Fiancee Fred Endres), along with many extended family members and dear friends.

Following a private inurnment at the church columbarium, a memorial service will be held Saturday, March 28th at 10:30 AM at St. Marks Episcopal Church, 6595 East Quaker Street, Orchard Park, NY.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Paula's name can be made to Hospice of Western New York or Roswell Park Cancer Institute.
