Patricia Anne (Murphy) Ruh of Orchard Park, NY, died August 20, 2024, age 96, in her home, with her family at her bedside.
Pat was born July 15, 1928 in South Buffalo to Frederick and Lillian (Schieber) Murphy. The second youngest of ten children, Patricia was a graduate of Mt Mercy Academy, D’Youville College (BA) and the University at Buffalo School of Management (MBA).
Beloved wife of the late Joseph F Ruh, MD, Patricia is survived by her ten children: Joseph F. Jr. (Julia Garver), Mary Patricia, John "Jack" F. (Maritza), Jennifer M., Daniel M. (Nancy Stewart), Peter C. (Susan), Richard J. (Hillary), Martha M. (David) Mangan, Kathleen R. (Gregory) Trapp and Anne R. (Karl) Clauss; also survived by 41 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents and nine siblings, and her son-in-law, Nigel F Holden.
Family will receive friends on Friday, 23 August 2024, 4 to 8 PM at the F. E. Brown Sons Funeral Home, Inc., 6575 E. Quaker St., Orchard Park, NY.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, 24 August at 11 AM in Nativity of Our Lord Church, 26 Thorn Ave. Orchard Park, NY. Friends invited. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Orchard Park.
Memorial contributions in her name may be made to D’Youville University, 320 Porter Avenue, Buffalo, New York 14201.
