Patricia A. Cuviello

Patricia (Patsy) Ann Cuviello (nee Berst) passed away peacefully in her sleep on March 9, 2023, surrounded by family at home in Orchard Park, NY. Patricia was born February 17, 1932, in Buffalo, NY, to Harry J. and Leola M. Berst. Patricia attended Public School 61 in Buffalo and graduated from Bennett High School. She went on to obtain a bachelor’s degree from Rosary Hill College in 1954 and worked for a few years as a lab technician at Roswell Park Cancer Institute for Dr. Carruthers. Patricia is the beloved wife of the late Michael T. Cuviello. She is the devoted mother of Christine Branson of Coos Bay, OR; Catherine (Anthony) Martorana of Angola, NY; Caroline Seligson of Woodridge, IL; Connie Laport of Orchard Park, NY; and Robert Cuviello of Clifton Park, NY. She will be missed by her cherished 7 grandchildren (Angela, Joel, Neil, Andrea, Theodore, Milton, and Sidney) and her 4 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and half-sister JoAnne (Theodore) Swales. Patsy is survived by her beloved sister Bonnie Patterson. A celebration in her memory will be held at a later date.
