Nancy S. Wilson

WILSON, Nancy (nee Stone) October 7, 2022 in Orchard Park, NY. Born May 8, 1928 in Syracuse, NY. She was the daughter of the late Marjorie and James Stone and beloved wife of the late Stuart F. Wilson and previous marriage to the late Robert C. Coleman. Mother of Katherine C. (Greg) Nicoll, Ann Coleman-Specht (the late Joseph Specht) and Jennifer A. Coleman. Grandmother of Carter and Clarity Nicoll and three Great Grandchildren. Stepmother of Craig F. (Susan) Wilson, the late Gary H. (Susan) Wilson and Susan W. (David) Craig. Step-Grandmother of Benjamin, Bradley, Corey and Scott Wilson, Amy Lefevre, Daniel and Peter Craig, Lorena McCabe and 12 Step Great Grandchildren. Sister of Suzanne S. (Robert) Johnson of South Carolina and four nieces.

She was the past President of the Junior League of Buffalo, William Smith College Alumni Association and Buffalo Canoe Club Scorekeepers. Her column "On the Niagara Frontier" in Yachting magazine was read far and wide. Nancy was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church, PEO Chapter H, and NSDAR Katherine Pratt Horton Chapter and board member of Protestant Home for Children and the Greater Buffalo Youth Orchestra. She was an avid skier, tennis player and sailor in her active years. Resident of Fox Run Orchard Park 2007-2022, Asheville, NC 1996 - 2007, Ithaca 1986-1996 Buffalo, NY 1951-1986. A celebration of Life will be held at Fox Run in Orchard Park, NY on Saturday, November 19th at 11:00 AM.
