Melvin J. Plowucha

Plowucha, Melvin John; of Orchard Park, NY, passed away March 2, 2024 at the age of 80. Beloved husband of Elizabeth (Malec) Plowucha; dearest father of Michael (Christine) Plowucha, Suzanne Plowucha, Kathleen (Fonda) Brigis; cherished grandfather of Alexander and Elizabeth Plowucha; he is predeceased by his parents John and Salome (Opiela) Plowucha and survived by his siblings Diane (Raymond) Falk, Kenneth (Kathleen) Plowucha as well as many loving nieces and nephews. Mel was a 44-year employee of American Brass/Outokumpu whose hobbies included fishing, hunting, spending time with family and at his home in Naples, Florida. He was also a member of the East Aurora Fish and Game club. The family will receive friends on Friday, April 19th from 4 to 8 PM at the F.E. Brown Sons Funeral Home, 6575 E. Quaker Street, Orchard Park, NY. Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, April 20th at 11 AM in Nativity of Our Lord Church, 26 Thorn Avenue, Orchard Park, NY. Please assemble at church. Memorial donations can be made to a charity of your choice. Flowers gratefully declined.
