Brooks, Melissa L. (Shelley); of West Falls, NY, January 23, 2025. Beloved wife of 27 years to Larry Brooks; daughter of the late Chadwick and Iris (Tharnish) Shelley; dearest sister of Wendy (Denny) Leonard, Todd (Angela) Shelley, Lisa (Brian) Transki, and the late Clinton (survived by Kim) Shelley and the late Randy Shelley; daughter-in-law of Jim and Joan Brooks; also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Melissa was a most generous person with "a heart of gold". She cared for others, whether it be cooking and feeding them or cheering their day with a card or phone call to check in on them. The family will be present on Monday, January 27th from 4 to 7 PM at the F.E. Brown Sons Funeral Home, 6575 E. Quaker Street, Orchard Park, NY. Family and friends are invited to attend a Graveside Service on Tuesday, January 28th at 10 AM in Griffins Mills Cemetery, 27 West Falls Road, West Falls, NY.
