Mary E. Van Rysdam, age 92, of Orchard Park, died Monday, September 1, 2014 at Mercy Hospital of Buffalo, NY. Mrs. Van Rysdam was born July 29, 1922 in Soest,Holland . She is the daughter of the late Douwe and the late Pieternella (Van Westering) Dykstra. She married John Van Rysdam.
Beloved wife of the late John W. Van Rysdam; loving mother of Douwe, Andy (Linda), Casey (Barbara), John W. (Cheryl) Jr.; and Eric (Jennifer) Van Rysdam; cherished grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 am on Thursday, September 11, 2014 at Orchard Park Presbyterian, 4369 S. Buffalo Street, Orchard Park, NY.
Calling hours will be Wednesday, September 10 from 2:00pm - 4:00pm - 7:00pm - 9:00pm at F. E. Brown Sons Funeral Home, Inc., 6575 East Quaker Street, Orchard Park, NY.
