Mary Schichtel

Mary Schichtel, age 89, of Orchard Park, died Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at Mercy Hospital of Buffalo, NY. Mrs. Schichtel was born September 5, 1927 in Buffalo, NY. She is the daughter of the late Andrew and the late Natalie (Kozak) Grubiak. She married George Schichtel.

Beloved wife of George V. Schichtel; loving mother of Constance (Matthew) Lydon, George (late Debra), Andrew (Karen), Ruth (Robert) Smith, Mary and Mark (Julie) Schichtel and Kristen (William) Ryan; also survived by 24 grandchildren and one great grandson; sister of John R. Grubiak and the late Olga Rousseau.

Calling hours will be Sunday, November 27 from 2:00PM - 4:00PM & 7:00pm - 9:00pm at F. E. Brown Sons Funeral Home, Inc., 6575 East Quaker Street, Orchard Park, NY.

A prayer service will be held 9:15 am on Monday, November 28, 2016 at F. E. Brown Sons Funeral Home, Inc., 6575 East Quaker Street, Orchard Park, NY., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am on Monday, November 28, 2016 at Nativity of Our Lord Church, 26 Thorn Avenue, Orchard Park, NY.
