Keating, Mary Ellen (Hunt); of Orchard Park, passed away peacefully on January 20, 2025. Beloved wife of 60 years to the late Terrance B. Keating. Loving mother of Ann (Stephen) Keating Touzinsky, Paul Keating, Edward (Ginna) Keating, and Mary Ellen (Timothy) Bergeron. Grandmother of Katherine (Michael) Chambers, Daniel (Sara) Touzinsky, James Touzinsky, Will Keating, Meghan, Ryan, and Emily Bergeron. Great grandmother of Lilly and Flynn. Daughter of the late Edward T. and Annabel (Hannon) Hunt. Mary Ellen is survived by her twin sister, Sr. Katherine Hunt, RSM and siblings Patricia Walsh and Edward Hunt. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Mary Ellen graduated from Mt. Mercy Academy and went on to earn her certification in nutrition. She worked in various nursing facilities in the Buffalo area. Mary Ellen and Terrance were married in Orchard Park, then moved to Westchester County where they raised their children and eventually returned to Orchard Park after retirement. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family and neighbors at Orchard Glen. Family and friends are invited to a Funeral Service on Saturday, January 25th at 12 PM at the F.E. Brown Sons Funeral Home, 6575 E. Quaker Street, Orchard Park, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mary Ellen's memory may be made to the American Diabetes Association or Hospice Buffalo, Inc. Share condolences at www.febrownsons.com
