Marjorie A. LaVett, age 92, of Orchard Park, died Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at Mercy Hospital of Buffalo, NY. Mrs. LaVett was born August 9, 1924 in Buffalo, NY. She is the daughter of the late Lorne and the late Margaret (Olt) DePotty. She married Seymour LaVett.
Beloved wife of Seymour LaVett; mother of Katherine (Edward) Simon and Susan (Michael) Skinner; grandmother of Jennifer (David) Moore, Jessica (Todd) Groves and Jillian Getter; great-grandmother of David, Hayley, Hannah, Jacob, Annabel and Julia.
The family will receive friends Friday August 12, 2016 2-4 and 7-9pm at the F. E. Brown Sons Funeral Home Inc. 6575 East Quaker Street Orchard Park, New York 14127. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.
Services from St. Matthew's United Church of Christ, 5289 McKinley Pkwy. Hamburg, NY 14075, Saturday 11am. Dr. Pastor William Shrout officiating.
