Margaret Anne "Peg" (nee Tarsa) Jablonski
November 17, 1931 - November 22, 2025
Peg Jablonski, 94, of Orchard Park, NY, formerly Naples, FL passed away peacefully surrounded by her children on Saturday, November 22, 2025, Predeceased by her husband John A. Jablonski, Peg was an amazing mother to her children John (Amy Holt), Marianne, Suzanne Thomas, Patti (Brian) Dopkin, Adam (Andrea) and Michael (Molly), and a loving grandmother to Ben (Brielle) Batory, Emily, Anna, Max, Megan, Joseph D, Katherine (Michael) Buscemi, Kevin (Lindsey), Karen (Alex) Steo, Adam Livak, Faith, Joseph J, Nicholas, Jackson and Great-Grandmother to Baelyn and Bardeux Batory and Dustin Steo. Born in Mahonoy City, PA and raised in Philadelphia, Peg married the boy next door and devoted her life to him and the raising of their six children, teaching them life lessons through her actions and words. She also instilled in them a sense of wonder and curiosity of the world along with the importance of reading. She exposed her children to books of every genre, sharing her favorites with them - particularly historic novels and mysteries. When not reading, she loved solving crossword puzzles. Peg had a strong faith in God and believed in the power of prayer. That faith prompted her to enroll at Villa Maria College where she earned an Associate's Degree in Religious Studies just as her youngest was entering college. She was an Extraordinary Minister and worked tirelessly at Nativity of Our Lord R.C. Church, organizing and running the religious education program for many years. She embraced God's love for everyone and reflected that love back to all who knew her.
Peg loved everything about autumn: the sights, sounds and feels of the season, the crisp air and the warm tones of the colors. She knew intuitively how to bring that warmth into a house to make it a home of comfort, safety and security for those who entered. Peg and John moved to Florida, residing there for 26 years until after John's death in 2012 when she moved back to Western NY to be nearer to her children and grandchildren. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 AM on December 30th at Nativity of Our Lord Church, 26 Thorn Avenue, Orchard Park, New York.
