HECHT - Margaret A. (nee Krehbiel) Of Orchard Park, NY December 16, 2020. Beloved wife of 58 years to David G. Hecht. Loving mother of Susan L (Michael) Burney and Robin (James) Crowley; devoted and cherished grandmother of Matthew Burney and David and Jack Crowley; sister of Daniel Krehbiel and the late Susan Hartman and John Krehbiel; also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Due to COVID-19, no prior visitation. Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
Margaret was a past board member of Orchard Park Little League and Orchard Park Boys and Girls Club. She was a lifelong youth sports coach and teacher. Margaret devoted her time to running the Special Olympics tennis program in South Carolina, during the years they lived there. Besides her family, nothing made Margaret happier than coaching kids and being involved with youth sports.
Donations can be made in Margaret's memory to the Alzheimer's Association of WNY.
