Karen L. Fitzgerald

Fitzgerald, Karen L.; of Hamburg, NY formerly of Orchard Park, NY, passed away July 17, 2024; Beloved wife of the late John J. "Jack" Fitzgerald, Jr. Dearest mother of Sean M. (Carrie) Fitzgerald. Loving and devoted grandmother to Matigan, Jack, and Caroline Fitzgerald. Daughter of the late George and Norma Zimmerman. Dear sister of Todd (Diane) Zimmerman. Sister-in-law of Maureen (Paul Young) Kane, Barbara (Brian) Guest, the late Timothy (survived by Ann) Fitzgerald, the late Michael Fitzgerald, and Ellen Fitzgerald. Karen is survived by many loving cousins, nieces and nephews. Karen's world revolved around being a grandmother. She was an avid knitter and crafter, who won many first-place awards at the Erie County Fair for her knitting, enjoyed traveling especially to Ireland and was a retiree of the Veteran's Hospital of Buffalo, NY. The family will be present Saturday, July 20th from 3 to 6 PM at the F.E. Brown Sons Funeral Home, 6575 E. Quaker Street, Orchard Park, NY where a Funeral Service will follow immediately at 6 PM.
