Joseph A. Zizzi, Md

Joseph A. Zizzi, MD, age 84, of East Aurora, died Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at Fox Run of Orchard Park, NY. Dr. Zizzi was born November 28, 1931 in Syracuse, NY. He is the son of the late Francesco and the late Theodora (Pape) Zizzi.

Beloved husband of the late Laura (nee Mirochiski); loving father of Joseph A. Zizzi Jr. MD, Christopher P. (Nancy) Zizzi, Thomas C. (Amy) Zizzi, Maria A. (Terese) Foti and David V. (Tracy) Zizzi; grandfather of Nicole, Christine, Joseph III, Kathryn, Katelin, Chelsea, Jordan, Olivia, Chandal, Matthew, Antonia, Sarah, David Jr. and Jennifer; brother of Rosemary (Pasquale) Salerno and the late Peter (late Rose); also survived by nieces and nephews.


A Mass of Christian burial will be held 9:30 am on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at Immaculate Conception Church, 520 Oakwood Avenue, East Aurora, NY. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Orchard Park.

Calling hours will be Thursday, May 5 from 7:00pm - 9:00pm and Friday, May 6 from 2:00pm - 4:00pm - 7:00pm - 9:00pm at F. E. Brown Sons Funeral Home, Inc., 6575 East Quaker Street, Orchard Park, NY.
