John Francis Reilly, Jr

Reilly, John F. Jr, MD; Of Orchard Park, passed away December 20, 2023 at age 85. Loving and devoted husband of Jean for 59 years; devoted father of Michael (Irene); cherished grandfather of Calla, Grace, and Declan; loving son of the late John F. Reilly, Sr. and late Helen Reilly, dear brother of the late Holly Walsh (late Patrick) and late Carol Taylor (B.J. Taylor), also survived by a niece and nephews. Dr. Reilly cared for innumerable patients during his decades in private medical practice in West Seneca. He was affiliated with Buffalo Mercy Hospital and Our Lady of Victory Hospital, where he served as Chief of Medicine. Dr. Reilly cared for many patients at several local nursing facilities and in their homes. Upon completion of his residency training at Erie County Medical Center (Meyer Memorial), he served in Vietnam as a Captain in the U.S. Armed Forces until leaving the military as a Major. Relatives and friends may visit Tuesday, December 26th from 4 to 7 PM at the F.E. Brown Sons Funeral Home, 6575 East Quaker Street, Orchard Park. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 11 AM in Nativity of Our Lord Church, 26 Thorn Avenue, Orchard Park. Please assemble at church. Flowers gratefully declined.
