John R. Baker

John R. Baker, age 84, of Orchard Park, died Thursday, March 1, 2018. Mr. Baker was born March 26, 1933 in Pittsburgh, PA. He is the son of the late Clarence R. and the late L. Gwen (Raymer) Baker. He married Olga Steck.

Beloved husband of Olga E. (Steck); loving father of Dr. Scott W. (Betsy) Baker, Jeffrey (Cathy Franklin) Baker and daughter Lisa Gwen Baker; grandfather of Dr. Brett (Ivey) Baker, Brian (Samantha Patton) Baker and Otto, William and Ales Eckstein; great-grandfather of Eli Wilde Baker; brother of William (Linda) Baker and Barbara (Late John) Buno; also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.


A memorial service will be held 11:00 am on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at Orchard Park Presbyterian, 4369 S. Buffalo Street, Orchard Park, NY.

Calling hours will be Friday, April 6 from 6:00pm - 9:00pm at F. E. Brown Sons Funeral Home, Inc., 6575 East Quaker Street, Orchard Park, NY.
