James A. Hazel, age 73, of Orchard Park, died Monday, August 5, 2019 at Mercy Hospital of Buffalo, NY. Mr. Hazel was born August 23, 1945 in Manhattan, NY. He is the son of the late James A. and the late G. Clementia (Bennett) Hazel. He married Alice Callaghan.
Husband of Alice Callaghan Hazel; brother of Sandra C. Hazel; nephew of J. Alfonse Bennett; brother in law of Ann E. (John) Wall, Mary F. (Jen) Callaghan, Thomas F. (Molly) Callaghan; beloved uncle of seven nieces, two nephews, grand and great-grand nieces and nephews; as well as godchildren and cousins throughout the U.S., Holland and the Dutch Caribbean Islands.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 am on Saturday, August 17, 2019 at SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 66 Main St., Hamburg, NY.
Calling hours will be Friday, August 16 from 3:00pm - 7:00pm at F. E. Brown Sons Funeral Home, Inc., 6575 East Quaker Street, Orchard Park, NY.
Flowers are graciously declined.
