J. Donald Furman Jr. passed away peacefully on May 1, 2024 , surrounded by his loving family. A graduate of Yale University, he attended Columbia Law School before embarking on an advertising career on Madison Avenue in the 1960’s. With the opportunity to own his own business, he moved his family to Buffalo, NY. For over 50 years, Don and his wife Ann owned and operated Conley Interiors, a distinguished firm known for the finest home furnishings and Interior design. He travelled extensively throughout Europe with the love of his life and took pleasure in procuring only the finest antiques and high-end home furnishings. He developed, in his free time, an ardent love for horticulture and planted many specimen trees on his property. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Elizabeth Ann Furman; his children, J.D. Furman III, Reverend Henry P. Furman, Joanne Aimee Hanna (Paul Hanna), Michelle Veeck (Alan Veeck Jr.), Manus Alexander Furman (Theresa Furman) and his eleven grandchildren. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at Nativity of Our Lord Church, 26 Thorn Avenue, Orchard Park on Saturday, May 4, 2024 at 11:00 AM. Please assemble at church.
