Genzel, Gerald A.; of Boston, NY, passed away unexpectedly on May 23, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of 57 years to Judith (Evans) Genzel; dearest father of Jeffrey (Mary) Genzel of Boston, NY, James (Kajsa) Genzel of Hamburg, NY, and Jennifer (Brad) Chamberlain of Selkirk, NY; devoted grandpa to Jacob James, Andrew Jeffrey, Mary Grace, Evan James, Benjamin Troy, Sarah Mary Genzel, Joshua Gerald, Samuel Joseph, and Nathan Bradley Chamberlain; dear brother of Donald (late Lucille) Genzel; Gerald was preceded in death by his parents Walter and Mildred (Jacobs) Genzel and his sister Sharon (survived by Paul) Starkweather; also survived by several nieces and nephews. Gerald was a retiree of Fisher Price, a 57-year volunteer of the Patchin Volunteer Fire Company, and a lifelong member of St. Martins Lutheran Church in Colden, NY. The family will be present Wednesday, May 29th from 3 to 8 PM at the F. E. Brown Sons Funeral Home, 6575 E. Quaker Street, Orchard Park, NY. Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service Thursday, May 30th at 11 AM at St. Martin's Lutheran Church, 8304 Cole Road, Colden, NY. Please assemble at church. Flowers gratefully declined. Memorials may be made to Tunnel 2 Towers, St. Jude Children's Hospital or the Shriner's Hospital.
