George A. Petre, age 94, of Orchard Park, died Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at Garden Gate Health Care Facility. Mr. Petre was born June 10, 1920 in Orchard Park, NY. He is the son of the late Albert J. and the late Gertrude (Gebel) Petre.
Beloved husband of the late Nancy (Haines) Petre; loving father of Andrew H.; Gerald G. (Kathleen); and G. Steven Petre; cherished grandfather of seven grandchildren and three great-granchildren; dearest brother of Howard (Jean), Marylou, late Raymond, Albert, Richard Petre and Joanne Sanderson.
The funeral will be held 10:00 am on Monday, June 1, 2015 at F. E. Brown Sons Funeral Home, Inc., 6575 East Quaker Street, Orchard Park, NY. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.
Calling hours will be Saturday, May 30 from 2:00PM - 4:00PM & 7:00pm - 9:00pm and Sunday, May 31 from 2:00PM - 4:00PM & 7:00pm - 9:00pm at F. E. Brown Sons Funeral Home, Inc., 6575 East Quaker Street, Orchard Park, NY.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Orchard Park Fire Co.
