Gary Allan Troust

Gary Allan Troust passed away peacefully on September 21, 2024, in Chambersburg, PA, just two days after his 88th birthday. Born in Williamsville, Gary was the son of the late Milford Eugene Troust and Charlotte Frances Troust. He is survived by his wife, Sylvia; his brother, Tom Troust of Colden; his children, Deanna Troust of Washington, DC and David Troust of Panama City, FL; and four grandchildren – Natalie and Nina Fernandez and Ian and Kyle Troust. Gary was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in Japan and Korea between 1956 and 1958. After the Army he ran his family hardware business, Troust Supply Center on North Buffalo Road in Orchard Park, for over 25 years. Gary enjoyed playing golf and tennis, and he and Sylvia were dedicated members of Aurora Players community theater in East Aurora, where Gary built sets and props and acted in several productions. The family will be present Friday, October 11th from 10:30 AM-12:30 PM at the F.E. Brown Sons Funeral Home, 6575 E. Quaker Street, Orchard Park, NY. A Funeral Service will immediately follow at 1:00 PM in the Orchard Park Presbyterian Church, 4369 S. Buffalo Street, Orchard Park, NY. Interment and Military Honors to follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
