SPERANZA, Francesca " Checchina" (nee Morlacci) of Orchard Park, NY, November 11, 2023. Beloved wife of the late Emilio Speranza; loving mother of Paul (Kathy Jo), Sonia (Joe) Micari, Linda (Jim) Jensen, David (Debra) and Gerry (Donna) Speranza; adoring grandmother of Brian (Gabrielle), Kiana, Eric, Olivia, Cole, Leo, Lucy and Vivienne and great grandmother to Arlo and Esme; daughter of the late Giulio and Elvira Morlacci; survived by her sister Idia (late Guido) Flammini and her sister-in-laws Linda (late Domenico) Morlacci and Silvana (late Angelo Morlacci) Fuchs and predeceased by her siblings Raffael (late Maria) Morlacci, Yolanda (late Maurizio) Piccinini, and Palma (late John) Barone; also survived by many loving cousins, nieces, nephews and dear friends. Francesca was born in Picenze, Italy in 1936 and immigrated to the US in 1958. She was a longtime employee of the Orchard Park School District and an active member of the Nativity of Our Lord Parish. The family will receive friends Wednesday, November 15th from 3 to 7 PM at the F.E. BROWN SONS FUNERAL HOME, INC., 6575 E. Quaker St., Orchard Park, NY. Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday at 10 AM in Nativity of Our Lord Church. Please assemble at church.
