Eleanor H. Brucker died peacefully on December 8, 2015. She was 87 years old. Eleanor was born March 17th 1928 in Batavia, New York to Dorothy and Floyd Harmon. Having met the late John Brucker Jr. in 1959 on a ski trip to Zermatt, Switzerland, she became his beloved wife for 49 years. She was the mother of John Christopher Brucker (Lynn) and Beth Ellen Kane (Patrick); grandmother of Benjamin and Jared Brucker and Kendall and Morgan Kane.
Eleanor was a 1946 graduate of Warsaw High School, and later earned a Medical Administrative Assistant degree in Rochester, New York. A Volunteer for the American Red Cross and an active member of the Orchard Park Women's Club, Eleanor was an enthusiastic gardener, sewer and knitter. For many years, she enjoyed spending time on Lake Ontario in the summer and Florida in the winter months.
A private memorial service will be held by her family.
