Eileen P. Sullivan of Orchard Park, NY, formerly Guilford, CT, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 14, 2024, at the age of 94. Born in New Haven, CT, on April 27, 1930 to Henry Barske and Besse McCartin Barske, Eileen lived a rich and fulfilling life devoted to her family, friends, and community. Eileen was the receptionist at Hunt Real Estate’s Orchard Park Office for many years until her retirement. She was an active member of Nativity of Our Lord parish for 40 years and enjoyed travelling to Europe several times with her family. After retiring, she and her husband Ed spent a month each spring in Hilton Head, SC for many years where they were often joined by their family. She moved to the Fox Run Community after her husband passed seven years ago. Eileen was the beloved mother of Edward B. Sullivan and his fiancée Felicia Keeler of Jamestown, NY, Mary E. Oliver of Chesapeake, VA. (deceased), Margaret A. Osler and her husband John Osler of Fairport, NY. Eileen has six grandchildren and eight Great Grandchildren as well as seven nieces and nephews along with their families who will all miss her greatly. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband Edward J. Sullivan, her daughter Mary E. Oliver, her sister Augusta Horan, her brother-In-Law Robert Horan, her Sister-In-Law Teresa Dolan, and Brother-In-Law Robert Ulles. She will be fondly remembered for her loving kindness, strength, patience, and service to others. Not to mention her amazing Apple Pies. She made a lasting impact on those around her. Visiting hours will be held at F.E. Brown Sons Funeral Home at 6575 East Quaker Street, Orchard Park, NY on Friday November 22 from 6 PM to 8 PM where prayers will be offered on Saturday November 23 at 10:15 AM and followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM at Nativity of Our Lord R.C. Church in Orchard Park. The family extends their deepest gratitude to the wonderful, loving staff at Fox Run as well as Dee and Jack Osler who supported her. Eileen’s love and legacy will remain in the hearts of all who knew her.
