Edward F. Sappelt, Jr.

Sappelt, Edward F., Jr., passed peacefully at 90 years of age on October 25, 2024. Beloved and faithful husband for 68 years to Karon (Stebbins) Sappelt. Edward is survived by his loving children Jeff (Beth), Joe, Amy (Dave) Ramage, and Beth (Dave) Skurnac; his grandchildren Marissa (Joe) Hurley, J.D., David (Olivia), Tom, Jennifer and Eddie Sappelt, Ryan and Michael Ramage, Nicole and Megan Skurnac; his great grandchildren Gia, Alana, Caroline, Alan, Alice and Talon. He was predeceased by his siblings Mary (Frank) Gnau and James (Mary) Sappelt. Edward was a devoted teacher at Eden High School for over 30 years. He coached H.S. baseball and several youth teams. He was the biggest fan of his children's sports and activities. The family will be present Tuesday, October 29th from 10 to 11:30 AM at the F E Brown Sons Funeral Home, 6575 E. Quaker Street, Orchard Park, NY where prayers will follow at 11:30 AM and followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12 PM in Nativity of Our Lord Church, Orchard Park, NY.
