Donald E. Schmidle

Donald E. Schmidle, age 94, of East Aurora, died Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at Autumn View Healthcare Facility of Hamburg, NY. Mr. Schmidle was born March 10, 1923 in Buffalo, NY. He is the son of the late Adolf and the late Mary (Britt) Schmidle.

Beloved husband of the late Elizabeth (Wild); father of Karen A. (George) Kibler, Mary T. (Lou) Kibler, Michael D. (Harriet), Donald F. (Donna), Thomas A. (Jody), Nancy E. (Richard) Lemieux and the late Patricia (Kenneth) Nuwer; also survived by 15 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren; brother of Arthur (Carol) and the late Bill, Richard and Mildred. Loving companion of Lucille Brachmann.


A Mass of Christian burial will be held 11:00am on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at St. George's Catholic Church, 74 Old Glenwood Road, West Falls, NY. Burial will be in Griffins Mills Cemetery, West Falls.

Calling hours will be Friday, January 26 from 3:00pm - 8:00pm at F. E. Brown Sons Funeral Home, Inc., 6575 East Quaker Street, Orchard Park, NY.
