Donald T. Mueller
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Donald T. Mueller, aged 101, on October 10, 2025, in Lancaster, New York. Born on June 29, 1924, in Buffalo, New York, Donald lived a life characterized by dedication, service, and community involvement.
Donald proudly served in the United States Army, in Korea, enlisting on May 28, 1946, and honorably discharged on May 14, 1947. He spent his professional career working for Mobil Oil Company in Buffalo. His commitment to his work and excellence in service were well recognized.
An avid sports fan, Donald passionately supported the Buffalo Bills, Buffalo Sabres, and New York Yankees. He was a fitness enthusiast, enjoying walking in Orchard Park, as well as running the Orchard Park Recreational Badminton League, fostering community through sport and physical activity. A generous spirit, Donald embodied a lifelong commitment to health and education.
A devoted member of St. John Lutheran Church in Orchard Park, New York, for over 40 years, Donald faithfully served as an usher, exemplifying his devotion to his faith and community.
Donald was the devoted husband of 77 years to the late Marguerite (Barry) Mueller. He is survived by his beloved children, Paul (Janet) Mueller, Diane (David) Kless, and Carol (Ron) Szpara; his grandchildren, Kristen Elvert Amanda Cooper, Mike Szpara and six great grandchildren. Donald was preceded in death by his parents Henrietta (Hubler) and Arthur Mueller, and his sister, Doris Converse.
The family will be present Monday, October 20th from 4 to 7 PM at the F E Brown Sons Funeral Home, 6575 East Quaker Street, Orchard Park, NY. Family and friends are invited to a Funeral Service on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at 10:30 AM, in St. John's Lutheran Church, 4536 S. Buffalo Street, Orchard Park, NY, where family and friends are invited to honor his memory. Following the service, Donald will be laid to rest in Woodlawn Cemetery.
In this time of mourning, we celebrate the life of Donald T. Mueller-a remarkable man who touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
