Dolores C. Rosiere, 96, most recently of Fox Run of Orchard Park, passed peacefully on July 19, 2024. She lived in East Aurora for 35 years prior to moving to Fox Run. Dolores was born on July 6, 1928 to Frank and Stefanie Krejci in Chicago, Illinois. Dolores married Charles (Gene) Rosiere on December 17, 1949 who predeceased Dolores in September 1978. Dolores was the loving mother of three sons. Michael; wife Cindy, Peter; wife Louise, and Thomas; wife Gayle Pluta. Dolores was the loving and very proud grandmother of Lucas Rosiere; wife Jennifer, Jacqueline Balducci; husband Matthew, and Jennifer Renee Rosiere Reynolds; husband Scott. She had five great grandchildren: Lyla Rosiere, Delaney Rosiere, Nolan Balducci, Caroline Balducci, and Ruby Reynolds. Dolores was Valedictorian of her 1945 Chicago Gage Park High School class before earning a BS in Nursing in 1948 at the St. Francis School of Nursing. Dolores held many positions as a lifelong and dedicated RN. Her professional career finally concluded with her retirement after 20 years of service as the school nurse at East Aurora Middle School. She was a tough fighter being a 3-time cancer survivor. She was a volunteer member of numerous organizations related to nursing. For the past 15 years, Dolores lived happily as an independent living and Pioneer resident at Fox Run of Orchard Park. Donations gratefully accepted in her name to the American Cancer Society, Roswell Park, Buffalo Hospice, or just be nice to a random person today.
