Deanna J. Nowicki

Nowicki, Deanna J. (Fulsom) of Hamburg, NY July 12, 2023. Beloved wife of B. Frank Nowicki; loving mother of Kim M. (Dennis) Wheeler, Mark J. Camino and Nancy S. (Scott) Peterson; grandmother of Leanne, Nate, Stephanie, Robert, Nicole, Melissa, Christine, Michael, Marc and Colin; also survived by 17 great-grandchildren. Sister of Gail (Wayne) Gaiser, Debbie (Don) Meyer, Janet (late Kevin) Martin and the late Donald Fulsom and Elaine Fulsom Turner.

Deanna was an avid horsewoman. She and her husband Frank owned "Creekvale Morgans" where they bred Morgan horses at their farm in Eden, NY. Deanna rode in many horse shows which were mainly on the East Coast and Canada. She had the honor of riding one of their homebred horses at the Morgan National Championships in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She placed ninth in a class where most of the riders were professional trainers. Deanna was also a very good artist. She mainly painted with oils. Some of her paintings won awards. She belonged to an Art group which was located in the community where she resided. Here in this group Deanna helped new members in techniques, both oil and pastel.

The family will receive friends Friday July 21st from 4pm – 7pm at the F. E. BROWN SONS FUNERAL HOME 6575 E. Quaker St. Orchard Park, NY. Services from the funeral home Saturday at 10am. Friends invited. Memorials may be made to Hospice Buffalo Foundation Inc. at www.hospicebuffalo.org Team #6.
