Of Tonawanda. Chris was 55 years old. Born to Elizabeth and the late Paul George. He was a graduate of Iroquois Central High School in Elma, NY, the University of Buffalo with a BA and a master's degree in education from Buffalo State College. Chris was a Teacher and Arts Coordinator at the Buffalo Academy for Visual and Performing Arts. Chris dedicated his life to Arts, nurturing creativity and fostering talent in Buffalo and beyond. Chris's message to everyone was "Make the Most of it". He is survived by his beloved Fiancé Jeff Downey and siblings Carol (Bill) Williams, Joanne (Tony) Nobilio, Kim (Donna), Randy (Cheryl), Dale (Kim), and Daryl (Dawn). Also survived by his beloved Nieces and Nephews, Jill, Liz, Dan (Susie), Kaitlin, Cody (Chelsea), Jason, Josh (Aubrey), and Josh Gala, Jenica (Shawn) Moultrop, Quinn, Regina, Verdilia, Mekano and Great-Nieces and Nephews.
The family will be present Sunday, August 17th from 2 to 8 PM and Monday, August 18th from 9 to 11 AM with a Funeral Service to follow at 11 AM at the F. E Brown Sons Funeral Home in Potter's Park, 6575 E. Quaker St., Orchard Park, NY.
