of Tonawanda died on Monday August 4, 2025. He was 55 years old. Born on December 22, 1969, to Elizabeth and the late Paul George. He was a graduate of Iroquois Central High School in Elma, NY, the University of Buffalo with a BA and a master's degree in education from Buffalo State College. Chris was a Teacher and Arts Coordinator at the Buffalo Academy for Visual and Performing Arts. Chris dedicated his life to Arts, nurturing creativity and fostering talent in Buffalo and beyond. Chris's message to everyone was "Make the Most of it". He is survived by his beloved Fiancé Jeffrey Downey and siblings Carol (Bill) Williams, Joanne (Tony) Nobilio, Kim (Donna), Randy (Cheryl), Dale (Kim), and Daryl (Dawn). Also survived by his beloved Nieces and Nephews, Jill, Liz, Dan (Susie), Kaitlin, Cody (Chelsea), Jason, Josh (Aubrey), and Jonathon (Jessie) Gala, Jenica (Shawn) Moultrop, Quinn, Regina, Verdilia, Mekano and great nieces and nephews. The family will be present, Sunday August 17th, from 2 to 8 PM and Monday, August 18th, from 9 to 11 AM at the F.E Brown Sons Funeral Home, 6575 E.Quaker St, Orchard Park NY, where a funeral service will follow at 11 AM.
