Beverly Willard Walsh

WALSH, Beverly (nee Willard); of Orchard Park, NY; December 2, 2023; beloved wife of the late William M. Walsh; dearest mother of Nancy (Richard) Peterson; daughter of the late George F. and Florence (Fischer) Willard; grandmother of Gretchen (David) Peterson and Melissa Evans; great-grandmother of Llewyn E. Evans; dear sister of the late Joan (Kenneth) Atkins and George "Bud" (Marie) Willard; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Beverly was the Founder of Strawberry Hill Craft and Art Shop in her home on Powers Road in Orchard Park, NY in the 1970's and 80's. She was very involved in the OP Federated Garden Club, taught many floral design classes to her fellow garden clubbers. She also became a Federated Garden Club Judge. She loved her gardens especially her lilies and orchids and won many awards. She was very involved with the Flower Show at the Erie County Fair, exhibiting and judging. As a young woman, she attended RIT in Rochester and became a buyer for the Department Store J.N. Adams as the junior dress buyer. Beverly also was a Girl Scout Leader and 4 H leader. The family will be present to receive friends Thursday from 3pm - 7pm at the F.E. BROWN SONS FUNERAL HOME, INC., 6575 E. Quaker St., Orchard Park. Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service on Friday day at 11am in the Orchard Park Presbyterian Church, 4369 S. Buffalo Street, Orchard Park, NY. Please assemble at church.
