Barbara L. Finn

Barbara L. Finn, age 94, formerly of Youngstown, Thursday, January 14, 2016, beloved wife of the late Robert E. Finn; mother of Robert E. Jr. and Mark L.; grandmother of Theodora (Jason Warfe), Ian, Alexa, Juanita, and Juan; great-grandmother of Lucia (Warfe); dear sister of the late James Lion; also survived by sister-in-law Barbara Lion and many nieces and nephews.

Barbara grew up in Buffalo where she and her husband raised their two sons. She graduated from the Buffalo Seminary and attended Elmira College. Barbara spent her later years in the Youngstown/Lewiston area where she owned two small businesses – The Quote and Quill and Yachting World. She was an avid sailor (A member of the Youngstown Yacht Club for several decades), and the Lewiston Tatler Club. Barbara enjoyed skiing, bridge, travel and she loved dogs. She volunteered at Niagara Memorial Hospital and the Youngstown Public Library.

Memorial Service will be held Saturday May 28th at 11:0am at the First Presbyterian Church 100 Church Street Youngstown, NY 14174.
