Nancy P. Dowrey

Nancy (Petro) Dowrey, 92, of Orchard Park, passed peacefully on February 28th, 2025; beloved wife of the late Edward Dowrey Sr.; loving mother to Anthony (late Cynthia) Dowrey, Mary (late Donald) Degnan, Eileen (Terry) Beiger, Robert (Sabrina) Dowrey, the late Stephen Dowrey, Angela (David) Gentry, Jeanette (late Max) Dowrey Smith, Edward Dowrey Jr., and James (Wendy) Dowrey; she is also survived by her sixteen Grandchildren; nineteen Great-grandchildren, two Great-great- grandchildren; sister of the late Francis (Jean) Petro, the late Louis (Roxy) Petro, Joseph (Diane) Petro, Jr., the late Mary Ellen (late Bill) Angell; and aunt to many, many, nieces and nephews. Family and friends received Friday, April 4th, 2-4 and 7-9 PM at F.E. Brown Sons Funeral Home, Inc, E. Quaker St, Orchard Park. Saturday April 5th, there will be a service of Christian Burial at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church at 10:00 AM, and internment at Nativity of Our Lord Cemetery, after the service concludes. Friends are invited. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the SPCA Serving Erie County, Ten Lives Club, or the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra.
